I bought a costume the other day, by hiney didn't like it, aka my arse is too big. I couldn't find my 2nd one I wanted the tavern wench. I finally just decided to buy the fabric to make one, couldn't find a tavern wench pattern so I bought the fortune teller one and all the schtuff to go with it. I'll let you know how it goes. My mom has declined to help me...so this should be interesting.
I'm attempting to calm down from being aggravated by photoshop and viddler so I'll blog. Today we bbqed which we always do on Memorial and Labor Day. So here's pictures from the bbq, there's only pictures of people, the food ones will come tomorrow!!
Beethoven in all his glory soaking up the sun!
Tigger decided to grace us with his presence. He promptly jumped on top of the porch swing and lazed about until the fire from the bbq was too much and he ran off to lay by Merlin in the yard.
Ah match light how we hate thee. It will never light but this is what we had so it's what we used.
While the grill warmed up we all had a few of these puppies.
Almost ready!!!
In the meantime we played with the camera where everyone decided to go gangsta...
Ashely needed some help from Dad...
and Tanya wanted a redo!
Of course Beethoven had to get in on the gangsta activities.
Ghost soon tired of our shenanigans.
Wait I said no food pictures....oops...so then we ate and drank!

The library is amazing! I trained most of the day with the head librarian and I love it. I love her. She's fantastic. She's extremely nice. The other people who work there are amazing too. Everyone's so friendly and helpful I can't believe. Not a single person has mad me feel unwelcome. I hate going into new jobs just because you know everyone's going to be like meh whatever. I've not experience any of that yet and I'm trying not to get my hopes up too soon but I really do love it there. I'm surrounded by books all day what more could I ask for?!
I'm tired, hot, and semi cranky. I decided not to long term sub, I'll stay at the library :) We did computer training today and tomorrow I get to read and practice what I know!
Today was my first day at my new job at the library! It was really fun and I liked it. The girl I'm training with, Sandy, is really cool and tomorrow we get to go to Independence to do 7 hours of computer training! Today we did a lot of paperwork, a tour of the library, got to know where stuff was at the desk, and read over some of the policies and procedures. As I'm leaving I see I have a text message from dad saying that a local elementary school called and wants me to long term substitute in October. What.In.The.World. I substitute for two years with no prospects of a job at all then all of a sudden when I get a job now they want to call me and have me long term sub. UGH.
I can do one of two things. 1. Long term sub and lose my job at the library, then in turn be wrecking having a career at a local library. Then there's a small chance I could be offered a permanent teaching job if they think I did well substituting. 2. Keep working at the library and subbing off and on and maybe, just maybe I'll get a teaching job next year. *Sigh* I don't know...
This is the 2nd book of the Mercy series and it was good. I wish she would pick between Sam and Adam already, it's dragging it out something fierce. Anywho!

Synopsis:
Why is Lady Sophia looking for a lover?
And
could she seduce the most marriageable man in London?
Lady Sophia Sydney would do anything to ensnare the unattainable Sir Ross Cannon. Her goal—to ruin his reputation and cause a scandal that would be the talk of all London. So she insinuates herself into his life by gaining his trust and living in his house.
Every morning, her lush presence tempts him beyond all reason...the way she bends over the table to serve him the meals she has prepared...the way her hands oh, so gently—yet sensuously—brush against him. Every night, she promises with her eyes—and her body— that the hours before dawn could be spent in unbridled passion instead of restless sleep—if only he'd let her share his bed.
She knows he is falling more in love with her each day. But she never counted on falling in love with him. And she never dreamed he might very respectably ask for her hand in marriage...
